Important:

To optimize the effectiveness of the UV sterilizer, it is important to ensure the good quality of the water to be treated. To do this, it is strongly recommended to install one or more filters upstream, according to nature of sediments to filter, which can make the shade in the sterilizer and reduce the effectiveness of the sterilization.

What can make the difference:

There is no microorganism known to the Ultra violet, in contrast to the treatment of water with chlorine-resistant. The UV is known to be highly effective against bacteria, viruses, algae. In practice, the bacteria and viruses are the cause of many pathogenic diseases carried by water.
Of these viruses, the virus of hepatitis and Legionella have demonstrated skills to survive for significant periods to chlorine treatment, but are easily eliminated by UV treatment. For most microorganisms, effectiveness of UV against microbiological contaminants such as bacteria and the virus is total

The water by UV treatment is very effective against; Salmonella (typhoid fever), salmonella enteritidis (gastroenteritis), vibrio cholerae (cholera), Mycobacetrium tuberculosis (TB), Legionella pneumophila (Legionella), influenza, polio, and Hepatitus.
